Candace Owens out at Daily Wire

Conservative media personality Candace Owens has parted ways with the Daily Wire, CEO Jeremy Boreing confirmed Friday.

"Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship," he posted on X.

While Boreing did not provide a reason for her departure, the development follows a number of high-profile public spats between Owens and Ben Shapiro, who co-founded the outlet with Boreing, over the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza.

Owens confirmed the development in a separate X post saying "I am finally free."

She further indicated that she plans to resume her podcast on her personal YouTube channel after a brief hiatus.
