Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley on Tuesday announced that she will host a weekly radio show on SiriusXM that will run every Wednesday morning through the next presidential inauguration in January.
Haley, who ran for the Republican nomination for president earlier this year, is expected to talk each week about some of the biggest headlines in politics, United States policy, and foreign affairs, as well as arts and entertainment. She will also weigh in on former President Donald Trump's and Vice President Kamala Harris's presidential campaigns.
The radio company said Haley will engage with key players, and regular callers, throughout the one-hour "Nikki Haley Live" show.
“The American people are smart. They’re sick of distractions in DC and noise from the mainstream media," Haley said in a statement. "They want to know what the issues are and how the solutions will impact them. I’m excited to partner with SiriusXM on a show that breaks down the policies and empowers them with the facts."
The new deal comes after Haley accepted a new job in the private sector at the global communications firm Edelman earlier this month. Haley will be working with clients at Edelman to help them navigate the complexities of the modern business and political world.
SiriusXM said the new program will debut next week, on Sept. 25, and will run every Wednesday from 8-9 a.m. Eastern. The program will be available on the SiriusXM app and across other major podcast platforms.
