Just the News to launch nonpartisan, Spanish-language suite of news products
"From business innovation to the rich embrace of faith and family, Latino Americans are helping to forge the next era of American greatness" – Bentley Media CEO John Solomon
Bentley Media Group, LLC, the parent company of Just the News, announced Wednesday it is developing a nonpartisan Spanish-language suite of news products to serve one of America’s fastest growing audiences.
Just the News Editor in Chief John Solomon, the CEO of Bentley Media Group, said the suite of products being developed includes a syndication service of its top stories and videos in Spanish, a nightly TV show and eventually a destination Web site called SoloLasNoticias.com.
“Anyone who has walked down Main Street USA can feel the extraordinary impact of our nation’s fastest growing demographic,” Solomon said. “From business innovation to the rich embrace of faith and family, Latino Americans are helping to forge the next era of American greatness.
“We are excited to chronicle this next era of Americana and to serve new audiences with the distinctive, fact-based reporting that has become a hallmark of Just the News.”
Just The News has had preliminary conversation with several potential partners, including streaming news giant Real America’s Voice, the Spanish-language news outlet Voz.us, and TelevisiaUnivision (“TU”), the leading Spanish-language media and content company in the world, Solomon said.
“This is a momentous year, and we are eager to embrace this moment in history by expanding to diverse new audiences,” said Howard Diamond, CEO of Real America’s Voice. “This partnership will connect us with Latino American communities all across the country and help make their voices heard all across our platforms.”
Orlando Salazar, founder and CEO of Voz, said: “We look forward to finalizing our partnership and delivering world-class news and opinion content to Spanish-speaking audiences all over America with our great new partners."
Solomon is an award-winning investigative reporter for three decades worked in traditional media with the Associated Press, The Washington Post, The Washington Times and The Hill.
Just the News launched in early 2020 and has quickly grown to one of the most trusted names in news with a nightly television show, a daily podcast and millions of readers.
