Trump roasts 'failing CNN' over perceived bias

President Donald Trump on Friday roasted CNN, asserting that the news outlet demonstrated consistent bias against him and was losing viewers.

"Unwatchable and Failing CNN is so dishonest. Everything they say is slanted against the Republican Party. They are truly FAKE NEWS! Thankfully, very few people are watching!" he posted on Truth Social.

It remains unclear whether Trump was reacting to any particular news segment.

Trump has long feuded with left-leaning news outlets, regularly accusing them of mischaracterizing his agenda or painting his efforts in the worst light possible.

But he has at times offered praise to the network as well, asserting that personalities Jake Tapper and Dana Bash had been good moderators for his debate with now-former President Joe Biden in 2024.
