Suspension in connection with two dozen women in Texas accusing football star of sexual misconduct
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was reportedly suspended Monday for six games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
The suspension is in connection with two dozen women in Texas accusing the football star of sexual misconduct, two people familiar with the National Football League's decision told the Associated Press.
The people spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision had not been publicly released, the wire service also said. Watson recently settled 23 of 24 lawsuits filed by women alleging sexual harassment and assault during massage therapy appointments in 2020 and 2021, also according to the wire service.
