Musk pledges America Party will release Epstein files
Earlier this month, Musk launched a third party titled the "America Party" after the passage of President Donald Trump's "big beautiful bill," arguing that the Democratic and Republican parties are bankrupting America.
Tesla CEO and former Trump administration special employee Elon Musk confirmed Tuesday that his new political party would prioritize releasing the files of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
"How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won’t release the Epstein files?" Musk wrote on the social media platform X.
Another account replied to Musk's post and asked, "Will exposing the Epstein files rank high on the America Party’s list?"
Musk responded with a "100" emoji.
Earlier this month, Musk launched the America Party after the passage of President Donald Trump's One Big, Beautiful Bill Act, arguing that the Democratic and Republican parties are bankrupting America.
Musk's post came the same day Trump snapped at a reporter who asked about the Epstein files amid criticism of the Department of Justice's handling of the documents.
Epstein died in prison in August 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sexually abusing dozens of girls.
