Pro-Palestinian protesters shut down major terminal in NYC during rush hour

Pro-Palestinian protesters shut down the Grand Central Terminal in New York City Friday evening during rush hour and staged a major sit-in that resulted in multiple arrests.
The protesters chanted, “No more weapons. No more war. Ceasefire is what we’re fighting for," according to the New York Post.
The protesters also hung banners from the tops of staircases that read, “Palestinians should be FREE” and “Never again for anyone.”
The sit-in was organized by Jewish Voices for Peace, which is an anti-Zionist group. The protest came shortly after the Israeli Defense Forces announced their second raid into Gaza.
Access to the station had to be temporarily restricted due to the number of protesters participating.
Train service was halted at around 7:30 p.m. and public transportation users were advised to take a different route home.
As of now, it is unclear how many people were arrested.
