UK branch of Turning Point USA to hold vigil for Charlie Kirk
The group encouraged other chapters to have their own vigil if they live too far away from Whitehall, London.
Turning Point UK, the British branch of Turning Point USA, will hold a vigil Friday for Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old founder of the global, youth-centric conservative movement.
"All British supporters of Charlie please come to the vigil tomorrow (12th September) in Whitehall at 6pm," the group wrote on the social media platform, X. "It is likely the left will try and antagonize us, but please ignore them and keep it peaceful."
The group encouraged other chapters to have their own vigil if they live too far away from Whitehall, London.
Kirk was killed at a rally at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
Kirk has been one of the most influential voices on the right in recent years, notably founding Turning Point USA chapters at universities across the country and hosting speakers' summits for young conservatives.
He founded Turning Point UK in February 2019.
