You Vote: Of these current and upcoming sports events, which are you most excited about?

There are lots of major sporting events taking place this week and weekend. 

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is scheduled to hold a mixed martial arts event called "UFC Freedom 250" on the South Lawn of the White House on June 14, which is also Flag Day and President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday. 

Also happening this week are the NBA Basketball finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks lead the best-of-seven series 3-1 with game 5 scheduled for Saturday, June 13. 

The FIFA World Cup 2026 began on Thursday and will last a little over a month, across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. 

The National Hockey League (NHL) finals is going on with the Vegas Golden Knights meeting the Carolina Hurricanes in a best-of-seven series that is tied 2-2 going into Thursday night's game.
