Democratic Rep. Al Green introduces articles of impeachment against Trump

The articles of impeachment cite the deaths of Renée Good, Alex Pretti, and others who have been killed by ICE agents over the past year.

Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, introduced articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Monday.

Greene's resolution sanctions the president for "high crimes and misdemeanors" and calls him a "threat to democracy and the Constitution."

It accuses Trump of operating the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection agencies as "his vicious, quota-driven, unaccountable paramilitary police forces, transgressing with anonymity and secrecy, assaulting people, committing and covering up unjustified killings of civilians...with impunity."

The document cites the deaths of Renée Good, Alex Pretti, and others who have been killed by ICE agents over the past year.

Greene has previously introduced articles of impeachment against Trump — as recently as June 2025 — but the legislation never received the support necessary to advance in the House, The Hill reported.
