Kentucky governor repeats call for McConnell health update: 'Let’s end the crazy speculation'

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, a Democrat, repeated his call for a health update from Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

"I publicly and privately urged the last administration to address the public’s concerns with the former president’s health. I’m calling on Sen. McConnell to do the same and provide voters an update on his own health," he wrote on X. 

"Let’s end the crazy speculation. Just tell us what’s going on," he added.

Beshear wrote a letter to McConnell on Wednesday seeking more information about his health status. 

McConnell has been hospitalized since July 14 for an undisclosed medical emergency.
