Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said after Republicans' election night wins in Florida that her party has “vulnerabilities with Latinos.”

The New York lawmaker and unofficial leader of House Democrats' progressive caucus won a second term Tuesday, while the presidential and hundreds of other congressional races were still undecided, which she said would limit her comments.

However, she made her disappointment with her party failing to win over Hispanic voter, including those in the Florida's Miami-Dade area, which helped President Trump win the state over Democratic challenger Joe Biden. Voters there also ousted two House Democrats.

“There is a strategy and a path, but the necessary effort simply hasn’t been put in,” she said in her tweet talking about Democrats lack of support from the Hispanic community.

Ocasio-Cortez also shared a link to a Yahoo video with her tweet that showed a reporter explaining Biden's struggle in appealing to that demographic of voters in not just Florida but other areas of the country as well.

“We have work to do,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
