Bolton pleads not guilty to all 18 counts in grand jury indictment

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton on Friday pleaded not guilty to all 18 charges in a grand indictment handed down a day earlier.
Bolton pleaded before a magistrate judge in Maryland in a roughly 20-minute proceeding.
The national security adviser to President Donald Trump during his first term, who later became a vocal Trump critic, was charged with storing top-secret records at home and sharing with relatives diary-like notes about his time in the administration that contained classified information. The indictment also suggests classified information was exposed when operatives believed to be linked to the Iranian regime hacked Bolton’s email account, according to the Associated Press.
Bolton's lawyer, Abbe Lowell, says his client did not unlawfully share or store any information.
