Court date set for June 2027 as Bryan Kohberger seeks to withdraw guilty plea

Bryan Kohberger, the man convicted of four murders at the University of Idaho, will return to court in June 2027 to address his petition to withdraw his guilty plea, Fox News reported.

Four college students were found murdered in the Moscow, Idaho home in 2022. Kohberger pleaded guilty in July of last year and received a sentence of life in prison with no parole.

He announced his bid to withdraw his guilty plea in July.

"I hereby declare my intention to enter a not guilty plea and welcome the State the opportunity to prove their case at trial, as well as to, again, file for the death penalty," he told the New York Times from prison.
