Ghislaine Maxwell, the madam of the late sex-offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein, has asked the Supreme Court to overturn her conviction for sex trafficking.

Her appeal rests with a non-prosecution agreement that Epstein made with federal authorities that she says should have protected her from prosecution, CNN reported.

Maxwell, last week, met with Department of Justice officials to answer questions about Epstein and his operation, though the details of those conversations have not become public.

Rumors have swirled about the prospect of a Trump pardon for Maxwell, though the president has indicated he hadn't considered it. She is also currently undecided as to whether to comply with a Congressional subpoena to testify.
