The jury in Sean "Diddy" Combs' sex-trafficking trial reached a verdict on Wednesday, finding him guilty on two out of five charges.

Combs was found not guilty on count one, racketeering conspiracy, which was the heaviest charge he faced, NBC News reported. The jury had recessed on Tuesday without coming to a verdict on that charge, but after having reached a verdict on the other charges.

He was found not guilty of count two, the sex trafficking of former girlfriend Casandra Ventura; found guilty of count three, the Mann Act transportation of Ventura; found not guilty of count four, the sex trafficking of former girlfriend "Jane"; and found guilty of count five, the Mann Act transportation of "Jane."

The jury began its deliberations on Monday after weeks of testimony from 34 witnesses. Combs was arrested in September 2024 on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for the sake of prostitution.

Combs' lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, asked U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian of the Southern District of New York, a Biden appointee, to release Combs from federal detention, where he has stayed for almost a year. Since Combs is no longer charged with sex trafficking, Agnifilo asked that he be released to his home in Miami and offered a $1 million bond.

The government argued that Combs should remain in jail until sentencing. Federal prosecutor Maurene Comey, the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey, said that the government will seek a 20-year maximum sentence for Combs.

Subramanian said he would take submissions on the matter of bail from both prosecutors and defense at 1 p.m.
