Quadruple amputee, pro cornhole player charged with fatally shooting passenger while driving

A professional cornhole player and quadruple amputee has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting Sunday in Maryland. 

The defendant, Dayton James Webber, 27, allegedly shot a front-seat passenger after getting into an argument with him while driving in Charles County, Md.

Webber, of La Plata, Md, which is in Charles County, was found and arrested by authorities in Charlottesville, Virginia, about two hours away, according to local TV station Fox 5 DC.

The victim in the shooting has been identified in court documents as 27‑year‑old Bradrick Michael Wells.

In addition to first- and second-degree murder, Webber also faces charges of assault and using a firearm in the commission of a felony, Fox5 DC also reports.

Witnesses reportedly said Webber pulled out a firearm and shot Wells twice in the head during the argument. He is a professional cornhole player in the American Cornhole League.
