The Department of Homeland Security confirmed this week that an illegal migrant who allegedly slapped a teenager earlier this month for wearing pro-President Donald Trump clothing is now in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.

The department identified the woman as Canadian "criminal illegal alien" Kaitlyn Tracey, who has been charged with simple assault, neglect of a child, compounding crime, and harassing communication.

Tracey allegedly confronted a group of four teenagers, including a 16-year-old girl who wore MAGA sweatpants featuring the word “ICE," at the Point Pleasant boardwalk in New Jersey over the Fourth of July weekend, according to court documents reported by the New York Post.

She was arrested after getting into an argument with the 16-year-old and allegedly slapped her across the face on July 3. Video shared by the department appeared to show the alleged slap.

Tracey allegedly entered the United States on a visa in April 2024 and was supposed to leave that September, but overstayed her visa.

"MAPLE LEAF MENACE. This illegal alien who assaulted a teenager has no business being in our country," the department wrote on X. "She is now in ICE custody pending REMOVAL from our nation."
