DOJ: 18 suspects in transit to U.S. in connection to murder of Haitian president

The Department of Justice revealed that 18 people have been transported in a "military plane from Haiti to face American justice in the Southern District of Florida" in connection to the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse.

"30 indicted for their involvement in assassination of Haitian president. 18 transported in military plane from Haiti to face American justice in the Southern District of Florida," wrote US Attorney Reding Quiñones on X Sunday.

"We will follow the evidence wherever it leads," he added.
