The Justice Department on Friday released the transcripts and audio recording of its interview with Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche conducted the interview last month at a prison in Florida where Maxwell was serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking and related offenses. She was later transferred to a woman's prison in Texas.

"In the interest of transparency, the [Justice Department] is releasing the complete transcript and audio of my proffer of Ms. Maxwell," Blanche posted on X. "The audio is divided into segments to reflect breaks during the interview. Some segments are shorter than others. Shorter segments are a result of audio tests and size limitations per recorded session. Except for the names of victims, every word is included. Nothing removed. Nothing hidden."

Maxwell in the interview told Blanche that she never witnessed President Donald Trump “in any inappropriate setting” with young girls that Epstein introduced him to, and that she never saw Trump get a "massage," which prosecutors have described as a code between Epstein and Maxwell regarding sexual encounters with the girls they recruited, per Politico.

“I actually never saw the President in any type of massage setting,” Maxwell said. “I never witnessed the President in any inappropriate setting in any way. The President was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”

The release comes the same day that the Justice Department delivered its first trove of files related to Epstein, to Congress.

The audio recordings and transcripts can be found here.
