Federal prosecutors on Wednesday charged a third man in connection to an alleged terror plot in Michigan that was thwarted last week on Halloween.

Mohmed Ali and Majed Mahmoud were previously charged with “Receiving and transferring, and attempting and conspiring to transfer, firearms and ammunition knowing and having reasonable cause to believe that the firearms and ammunition would be used to commit a Federal crime of terrorism,” according to a criminal complaint.

The third man has been identified as 19-year-old Ayob Nasser, who was arrested earlier Wednesday and is accused of participating in planning a possible attack on LGBTQ+ bars in suburban Detroit. The alleged plan was inspired by ISIS.

“We will not stop. We will follow the tentacles where they lead," U.S. Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon Jr. said, per the Associated Press. "We will continue to stand guard with the FBI against terrorism."

Acting U.S. Attorney in New Jersey Alina Habba said in a social media video that her office has also charged two more people “connected” to the alleged plot.
