Kari Lake top candidate for Trump’s ambassador to Mexico: Report

Former U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake is a top candidate for the nomination as President-elect Donald Trump’s ambassador to Mexico, according to a report.

Lake lost a close Arizona Senate election in November to Democratic Sen.-elect Ruben Gallego. She lost the Arizona governor election in 2022.

Trump endorsed Lake in both of those elections.
