Senate Republicans halted an effort by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., on Saturday to secure pay exclusively for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) workers as the Department of Homeland Security shutdown continues.

Democrats are pushing the GOP to accept a list of reforms to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as a condition to pass a bill to fund the agency.
In the meantime, DHS remains unfunded.
