Some of RFK Jr.’s family members are calling on him to resign

Several members of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s family are calling on him to resign from his role as Health and Human Services secretary following a congressional hearing where he sparred with lawmakers on several hot-button issues.
Kerry Kennedy, his sister, and former congressman Joseph P. Kennedy III, his nephew, released public statements on Friday condemning his leadership.
Kennedy was under fire, mostly from Democrats at the Senate hearing, over parts of his record, including firing senior officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and scaling back COVID-19 vaccine guidance.
Joseph P. Kennedy III wrote on X that Kennedy “is endangering the health and safety of all Americans,” warning that “no one will escape the harm he is causing.”
