Vance, Kennedy to headline 'Make America Healthy Again' summit this week

Vice President JD Vance and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., are scheduled to close out the "Make America Healthy Again" summit in Washington, D.C., this week.

Tuesday's event will feature prominent MAHA allies, including Kennedy's wife Cheryl Hines and former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, and the closing fireside chat is expected to focus on “accomplishments, its regulatory reform agenda and its priorities for the year ahead,” according to Politico.

The all-day event will also feature other members of President Donald Trump's administration, including Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin.

Leaders of health care companies and trade groups with business before HHS are also expected to speak, including the chief physician of value-based care at UnitedHealthcare, who is part of a panel on affordability. 

Another panel will focus on Make America Healthy Again athletes, including Tyson and former Major League Baseball pitcher Noah Syndergaard. 

Hines is scheduled to make a five-minute announcement before her husband and the vice president speak.
