At least 30 people injured after car plows into crowd outside nightclub in Los Angeles
Police said those injured were mostly female and 3 are in critical condition.
More than 30 people have been injured after a car drove through a crowd in East Hollywood on Saturday morning.
Police said at least three people are in critical condition, while at least six are in serious condition.
The others are currently in stable condition.
The LAPD said the car rammed into a crowd of people, mostly female, while they were waiting to enter a nightclub called Vermont on Santa Monica Boulevard.
The vehicle also hit a taco truck and valet stand, police said, according to the Associated Press.
Police told news outlets that a bystander shot the driver. He is currently undergoing surgery at a local hospital.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said more than 100 firefighters responded to the scene.
