Former Rep. Barbara Lee wins Oakland mayor’s race

Former U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee won a tight race for Oakland mayor.

Lee  defeated former Oakland city council member Loren Taylor in Tuesday’s special election. 

Lee will serve in the role until 2026 when the next election will be held.
