NYC Mayor Eric Adams drops re-election bid

New York City Mayor Eric Adams dropped his re-election on Sunday. 

Adam is currently serving his first term.

Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani, a democratic socialist, are in the race to become the next mayor.
