Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are still looking for 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter in connection to the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses that occurred on Saturday.

The search is now on the second day.

Minnesota Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman, former House speaker, and her husband were shot and killed at their Brooklyn Park home on Saturday morning.

Democratic State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette were shot and wounded at their home in Champlin.

The FBI is offering $50,000 for information leading to Boelter's arrest and conviction.

Boelter is 6-foot-1 tall, about 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

He was last spotted in Minneapolis on Saturday carrying a dark bag and wearing a cowboy hat, dark long-sleeve shirt and light pants.

Boelter reportedly sent a text message to his roommate that said he would be dead soon.

“Dead shortly. So, I just wanna let you know that I love you guys both, and I wish it hadn’t gone this way. I don’t want to say anything more and implicate you in any way because you, you guys, don’t know anything about this. But I love you guys, and I’m sorry for all the trouble this has caused,” read the text message to the roommate.
