The deaths occurred in Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri and Indiana, according to the Weather Channel.
The Associated Press reported that more than 520 flights were cancelled and more than 6,400 flights were delayed on Saturday. Those figures included international inbound, outbound and domestic flights. More delays and cancellations occurred on Sunday.
