A transgender teen was arrested in connection to a Valentine's Day school shooting plot, according to a news release from local police on Friday.

The Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department revealed on Friday that the FBI on Feb. 11 informed them about a possible shooting plot at Mooresville High School.
Officials searched the home of 18-year-old Trinity Shockley, who was identified as a person of interest in connection to the plot.
Prosecutors filed charges against Shockley on Feb. 13 for "conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of intimidation with a threat to commit terrorism," according to reports.
