War Secretary Pete Hegseth on Tuesday announced that two male alleged "narco-terrorists" were killed in a kinetic strike on an alleged drug boat in the Eastern Pacific.

The Trump administration has struck multiple suspected drug boats in the Caribbean and Venezuela recently, which the administration claims are bringing illicit drugs to the United States.

Hegseth said U.S. intelligence confirmed the latest strike was on a boat that was bringing narcotics to the country and that no U.S. forces were harmed in the attack. The strike occurred in international waters in the Eastern Pacific.

"Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization," Hegseth posted on X. "Intelligence confirmed that the vessel was involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, transiting along a known narco-trafficking route, and carrying narcotics."

The secretary did not state what country the vessel was coming from or the drugs that were allegedly on the boat, but warned drug cartels and terrorist organization against trying to smuggle drugs into the United States.

"We will find and terminate EVERY vessel with the intention of trafficking drugs to America to poison our citizens," he said. "Protecting the homeland is our TOP priority. NO cartel terrorist stands a chance against the American military."
