'Operation Rotten Apple': Mullin touts arrest of more than 2100+ criminals in New York

Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin on Tuesday announced the arrest of more than 2,100 convicted criminals across New York State as part of "Operation Rotten Apple."

"These individuals should never have been on our streets, but while the radical left sanctuary states protect illegals, underneath Trump's administration and the Department of Homeland Security, ICE officers which is our Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, are out there every day protecting Americans," Mullin said.

He further highlighted some of the worst criminals apprehended as part of the operation, including gang members, rapists, murders, and child predators.

One illegal alien from Ukraine was previously convicted of kidnapping, abduction, possession of a weapon, and murder. One Indian was convicted for rape in Germany. One from Colombia was arrested for sexual assault against a child.

The announcement comes as the DHS continues to implement President Donald Trump's mass deportation agenda, with a focus on the "Worst of the Worst."
