Tech outage grounds hundreds of flights worldwide, disrupts 911 systems in US

A technology outage Friday is grounding flights and causing other massive, computer-related disruptions worldwide.

The Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike says the issue does not appear to be a security incident or cyberattack, according to the Associated Press.

The disruption has also caused problem with online banking and 911 systems in U.S. state including Alaska, Iowa and Virginia.
