President Donald Trump will deliver an update on the Iran war at 1 p.m. on Monday, Fox News reported.
The address comes after the president issued a Tuesday morning deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face the destruction of its civilian power grid, as well as key bridges.
The war began in late February with joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran that resulted in the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Trump has repeatedly declared victory in the conflict, though fighting persists.
Much of the Easter weekend saw the public captivated by a rescue operation to recover the crew of a downed American jet, which was ultimately successful.
