'Worst of the worst': ICE nabs aliens with convictions for incest, rape, child sex offenses

Topping the list this week was Pedro Castro-Castro of Guatemala, who boasted convictions for burglary, shoplifting, rape, and incest with a minor.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Monday touted the arrest of 15 illegal aliens it dubbed the "worst of the worst" as part of the Trump administration's ongoing crackdown.

“While Americans enjoyed their weekends, DHS law enforcement officers continued to arrest and remove the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens including violent child predators, gang members, drug traffickers, robbers, rapists, and reckless drunk drivers,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement. “Our officers continue to risk their lives and work without pay because of the Democrats’ government shutdown. We will not let political games or violence against law enforcement slow us down from making American safe again.” 

Topping the list this week was Pedro Castro-Castro of Guatemala, who boasted convictions for burglary, shoplifting, rape, and incest with a minor.

ICE also arrested Bonifacio Mendez of Mexico, who was previously convicted for dealing child pornography.

Fiacro Huerta-Tobon of Mexico was previously convicted of indecency with child contact.

Kosal Chea of Cambodia was convicted on three counts of sexual assault inflicting bodily injury or of a victim younger than 16 while the offender was at least three years older.

Nicolas Ortiz-Zenteno of Mexico was convicted of sexual conduct against a child.

Angel Antonio Vasquez of El Salvador, an MS-13 member, was convicted for burglary and rape.

Ramon Venzor-Villa of Mexico was convicted for smuggling of persons.

Angel Avalos-Rodriguez of Mexico, was convicted of felony forgery, felon in possession of a firearm, domestic violence, criminal mischief, and multiple illegal entries.

Sammy Rey-Justiniano of Mexico was previously convicted of unlawful possession of a weapon and operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor.

Thiago Dos Santos of Brazil, was convicted of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Jorge Avilez-Lara of Honduras was previously convicted of alien smuggling.

Oscar Paz-Velasquez of Honduras was previously convicted of unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Miguel Gomez-Riios of Mexico was previously convicted of assault with a deadly weapon.

Nan-Su Hoang of Vietnam was previously convicted of burglary.

Omar Garcia-Pineda of Mexico was previously convicted for attempted opium trafficking.
