Conor McGregor confirms plans to fight in White House UFC event
The White House previously stated that the UFC would hold a cage match on the White House South Lawn as part of the ongoing America 250 celebrations marking the quarter-millennium anniversary of the nation's founding.
Conor McGregor this week confirmed that he would fight in a UFC event at the White House during a Fox News appearance.
"Done deal, signed, delivered," he said. "McGregor will compete in the White House for America's 250th birthday."
He further confirmed that he was worked with UFC Chair Dana White.

“Every one of our national parks, battlefields and historic sites are going to have special events in honor of ‘America250’ and I even think we’re going to have a UFC fight,” Trump said July during a speech in Iowa. “Does anybody watch UFC? The great Dana White? We’re going to have a UFC fight. We’re going to have a UFC fight — think of this — on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there."
