Hunter Biden, son of former President Joe Biden, reportedly participated in last-minute pardon and clemency deliberations at the White House, according to former Chief of Staff Jeff Zients.

Zients made the comments during closed-door testimony before the House Oversight Committee as part of their investigation into Biden's mental fitness.

Hunter “involved” himself in the meetings about pardons shortly before his father's term ended, Zients testified.

Hunter was convicted on three federal gun charges back in June 2024. He later pleaded guilty to nine counts in a federal tax-fraud case, including three felony tax offenses and six misdemeanor tax offenses.
