Maher supports Trump's war on Harvard: 'I’ve been sh--ing on Harvard long before he was'
“It’s because Harvard is an a–hole factory in a lot of ways that produces smirking f–k faces,” Maher says
Comedian and “Real Time” host Bill Maher endorsed President Donald Trump's war on Harvard University in the latest episode of the show.
Trump has taken steps to freeze billions in federal grants and bar the institution from admitting foreign students over its handling of anti-Israel protests on campus.
“Trump has declared full-scale war on Harvard, and like so many things he does, there’s a kernel of a good idea there,” Maher said during the show on Friday. “I’ve been sh–ing on Harvard long before he was.”
Maher, a graduate of Cornell University, said his criticism of Harvard was not related to the fact that he went to an Ivy League competitor school.
“It’s because Harvard is an a–hole factory in a lot of ways that produces smirking f–k faces,” Maher said bluntly.
