Pollster Nate Silver calls on Biden to resign and let Harris serve remainder of his term

Pollster Nate Silver on Wednesday called on President Biden to resign and let Vice President Kamala Harris serve out the remainder of his term.

“Is there any particular reason to assume Biden is competent to be president right now? It’s a very difficult job,” Silver wrote in a social media post on X. “It’s a dangerous world. Extremely high-stakes decisions in Ukraine. He should resign and let Harris serve out the last 2 months.”

Biden recently authorized Ukraine to use U.S-provided long range missiles in Russia. The Kremlin said the decision could lead to a world war.
