Trump confirms Iranian nuclear proposal: 'They know they have to move quickly'
A nuclear deal with Iran would lift sanctions in exchange for a cessation in Iran’s nuclear program and destruction of current nuclear proliferation materials.
On Friday, President Donald Trump confirmed that Iran had made an offer to open its nuclear program to foreign inspectors and to end domestic enrichment of uranium.
"Yeah they have a proposal, but more importantly, they know they have to move quickly or something bad, something bad is going to happen," Trump said.
Leaders from the U.S. and Iran have held four rounds of talks, primarily in Oman, since Trump began his second term to address Tehran’s nuclear program.
