Trump pulls endorsement of Marjorie Taylor Greene over recent criticism: 'She has gone far left'

President Donald Trump on Friday night pulled his endorsement and support of his former ally, Georgia firebrand GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, accusing her of going "far left" following her recent criticisms.
Greene has blasted the president in recent months, primarily for his focus on ending foreign wars and policies, despite running on an "America First" platform. Greene most recently urged the White House to focus on domestic issues instead.
Trump said that he was pulling his support for the Georgian over a series of issues, including her complaint that he had not been taking her calls and that she has spent time complaining about him despite recent successes.
"I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of 'Congresswoman' Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia," Trump announced on Truth Social. "Over the past few weeks, despite my creating record Achievements for our country ... all I see 'wacky' Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN."
Trump claimed some of his recent successes include ending a record-breaking government shutdown, closing the United States border, lowering taxes, securing large investments in the U.S. and keeping biological men out of women's sports.
The president said Greene's complaints appeared to stem from his refusal to support her alleged Senate bid, after he sent her a poll that showed she had a low chance of winning.
"She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore," he continued. "But with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 Countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting Lunatic’s call every day.
"I understand that wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support," he added. "She has gone Far Left, even doing The View, with their Low IQ Republican hating Anchors."
Greene slammed Trump for claiming she was upset about him not returning her calls, stating that he "lied" about her, and claimed her comments on the Epstein Files appeared to be what triggered the attack.
"It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level," she posted on X. "Most Americans wish he would fight this hard to help the forgotten men and women of America who are fed up with foreign wars and foreign causes, are going broke trying to feed their families, and are losing hope of ever achieving the American dream.
"I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time," she continued. "I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump. I worship God, Jesus is my savior, and I serve my district and the American people. I remain the same today as I’ve always been and I will continue to pray this administration will be successful because the American people desperately deserve what they voted for."
