Trump says he will consider declassifying more 9/11 records

President ​Donald Trump on ‌Sunday said he would consider publicly releasing more records related to the September 11 terrorist attacks that occurred 25 years ago. 

The request for more declassified documents comes from ​relatives of victims who died as a result of the attacks. 

The relatives argue that not enough information has been disclosed publicly about the investigation into potential links between the Saudi Arabia government and the 9/11 plots. 

“I’m going to look at it when I get back,” Trump said prior to boarding Air Force One to return to Washington after a weekend in Ireland. “I know they asked me Friday.”
