President Trump touted on Sunday that July marks the "third month in a row" without any illegal immigrants released into the U.S. from the southern border.

During the 2024 presidential campaign, Trump vowed to end the "catch-and-release" border policy of the Biden administration.

Trump posted a photo on Truth Social where he noted that his administration is not releasing illegal immigrants into the U.S. interior.

In a separate post, Trump thanked Rep. Tom Emmer of Minnesota, the House GOP whip, for his "great defense of everything Republican."

July's border encounter numbers hit a record low, according to the latest statistics.

Trump wrote that Emmer's "television appearances are gold" and the Democrats are in a "state of collapse."
