President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday hold a joint press conference following their joint meeting in Anchorage, Alaska.

Trump and members of his administration, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, discussed an end to the years-long war in Ukraine. The summit began at 3 p.m. Eastern.

It was not initially clear if Putin would speak to the press with Trump after the meeting, but the White House has since confirmed that both leaders will participate in the briefing.
