Watch: Trump attends baseball game at Yankee stadium
The New York Yankees are set to face off against the Detroit Tigers.
President Donald Trump on Thursday evening spoke to New York Yankees baseball players ahead of a game at their home stadium, where they will face off against the Detroit Tigers.
Trump's attendance at the baseball game comes on the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
The New York Yankees are expected to honor the victims and heroes of the 9/11 attacks before the game.
