Tiger Woods strikes plea deal in rollover crash, agrees to five-year license suspension

Pro golfer Tiger Woods agreed Wednesday in a Florida courtroom to a plea deal in connection to his rollover crash in March. 

According to the deal, to which the court and Woods agreed, after he initially pleaded not guilty to the related charges, the initial driving under the influence charge was amended to reckless driving – second offense, adjudication of guilt that carried a $1,000 fine, according to Fox News.

The second charge was amended to a careless driving citation. Each charge will carry a five-year driver’s license suspension that will run concurrently, which means they will be in effect at the same time and the suspension will last, in effect, for just five years.

Woods appeared in Florida's Martin County Court with girlfriend Vanessa Trump.
