At least 5 people shot at Virginia State University, police say

At least 5 people have been shot at Virginia State University on Saturday morning.

The campus was on lockdown and it has since been lifted, according to reports.

"A shooting occurred in the area of the Quad Annexes involving multiple victims, who were transported to area hospitals," VSU Police wrote in a statement posted to X.
