Trump touts 'great meeting' with Xi Jinping

President Donald Trump on Thursday said that he had a "great meeting" with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who visited him at the White House.

Trump told reporters he had a great meeting with Xi, while escorting the Chinese leader to his vehicle outside the building.

The president did not share any details of the meeting and Xi is due back at the White House for a state dinner on Thursday evening.

The pair held a press conference earlier in the day, in which Xi extended an invitation to 100,000 Americans to study in China for cultural exchange. He also confirmed that two giant pandas would soon arrive at the Atlanta zoo.
