Trump doubles down on comparing CNN's Kaitlan Collins to Dylan Mulvaney with AI photo

President Trump doubled down on comparing CNN's Kaitlan Collins to transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney with an AI-generated photo on his Truth Social account.

The AI-generated photo shows Collins' head over Mulvaney's surrounded by Bud Light cans.

Mulvaney starred in a controversial 2023 campaign with Bud Light, which led to conservatives boycotting the beer brand.

“She never smiles,” Trump said of Collins during his speech at the rescheduled White House Correspondents Dinner on Friday night. “I said, ‘Kaitlin, do you ever smile?’ Smile. You have a nice position. You’re at CNN fake news. You should be a happy person. So smile, Kaitlan. Just smile.”

Trump also said he thought Collins had “made it big with a major new sponsorship, but then I informed her that it wasn’t her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney.”

Collins won the White House Correspondents' Association Award for Excellence in Presidential News Coverage Under Deadline Pressure (Broadcast category) at the dinner. CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer presented her with the award.
